Description

The museum complex of Stalin’s Line was opened in 2005. The exhibition is based on fortified bins and fire points. This open-air military history project demonstrates the achievements of pre-war engineering troops and a collection of military equipment from the 1930s till the beginning of the 21 century.

The military exhibits are grouped according to the kind of troops. Artillery pieces, various types of tanks, aircraft, World War I firearms and cold warrior ballistic missiles were located here.

On the basis of archival drawings, engineering structures were recreated: numerous varieties of trenches, anti-tank mouths, positions for rifle divisions, bunkers for shelter of personnel, trenches for cannons, barriers.

In local cafes you can try soldier porridge, and in the dash you can practice shooting. On the roads of the complex you can travel on an armoured personnel carrier or a light tank. Within the framework of historical dates, the museum hosts paramilitary performances of the historical reconstruction of the events of the Great Patriotic War.
